'n Kandidaat moet 7 vakke neem, waarvan twee tale ( huistaal en nog 'n
eerste addiionele taal) , lewensoriëntering en wiskunde of wiskundige
geletterdheid verpligtend is.
Dié punte is ook die minimum toelatingsvereistes om vir 'n hoër sertifikaat
te studeer.
Vir 'n diploma geld die minimum en vier vakke, buiten lewensoriëntering, wat
op vlak 3 ( 40% - 49%) geslaag is. Vir 'n graad is dit die minimum en vier
vakke uit 'n spesifieke lys wat op vlak 4 ( 50% - 59%) of beter geslaag is.
Op die webwerf www.he-enrol.ac.za word die vereistes uitgestippel.
Maar dis nie al nie, soos die advertensie sê. Oor RSG die oggend is berig
dat 'n kandidaat se vakke op hoër vlak gemerk word, en as die 40% nie behaal
word nie, word dit op die laer graad of standaardvlak gemerk, om die
slaagsyfer van 30% te probeer maak. As dit nie genoeg is nie, word die
vraestel gemerk teen 'n derde standaard, waar die kandidaat dan sal kan
slaag op 25%.

geletterdheidsprojekte in o.a op plase naby Robertson en Wellington, asook
in woongebiede Ravensmead, Uitsig, Delft-Suid, Bellville-Suid en
Elsiesrivier.
Die skolegeletterdheidsheidsprogram word Funda genoem.
Die SBA is ook betrokke by verskeie hoërskole in die Wes-Kaap dmv die
Bravo-projek.
Die hooffokus van die organisasie is die voorsiening van basiese en
