Sou dit wees omdat wit skole nie aan die stakings deelgeneem het nie? In my
dorp het net die bruin skole gestaak. Maar sover ek weet was daar geen
intimidasie hier nie.

Durban - Die kêrels van twee tienermeisies wie se lyke in Durban

Sibusiso Khumalo en Mxolisi Ncoya het Maandag in die landroshof in
Durban verskyn op twee aanklagtes van moord en twee aanklagtes van
verkragting.

Khumalo en Ncoya het glo vir Boniswa Zondo en Nombulelo Dlamini (albei
16) by 'n kroeg uitgesleep, hul kele geskeur en toe met hulle seks
gehad nadat die meisies dood is.

Hulle het glo toe die tieners in 'n vlak graf in Durban begrawe. Twee
mense het glo gesien hoe Khumalo en Ncoya dié toneel verlaat. Daar

Sasolburg. Brig. Zondi Nghondzweni, voormalige bevelvoerder van die
Sasolburg-polisiekantoor, is uit die polisie ontslaan nadat hy intern
skuldig bevind is aan 'n klag dat hy 'n vrou in sy kantoor verkrag
het.

Nghondzweni is Dinsdag ontslaan, maar bly vir eers tydelik geskors
terwyl hy kans kry om teen sy ontslag te appelleer.
Kol. Sam Makhele, provinsiale polisiewoordvoerder, het gister
Nghondzweni se ontslag bevestig. Nghondzweni is ook strafregtelik deur
die Onafhanklike Klagtedirektoraat (OKD) aangekla en gaan in die hof
op dieselfde aanklag teregstaan.

Die OKD het Nghondzweni vroeg in Februarie in hegtenis geneem nadat hy
na bewering 'n 26-jarige vrou in sy kantoor op Sasolburg verkrag het.
Die burgerlike vrou het tydelik in sy kantoor diens gedoen.

Hy is op borgtog van R2 000 vrygelaat.

Hy verskyn in die hof op 14 Julie. Earl Coetzee
