Nobody can dispute the fact that the term "Dutchmen" is south

Ik zat me af te vragen waar het Afrikaanse woord 'bloot' (in de betekenis
van 'alleen' of 'slechts') vandaan komt....met als vermoeden dat dit een
van de weinige duidelijke Duitse leenwoorden is: het Duitse 'bloss'
(ss=ringel-S, of meer officieel 'sz') heeft nl. dezelfde betekenis, itt het
huidige(!) Nederlands, waar het bijna uitsluitend 'zonder kleding'
betekent....
Verder ben ik nieuwsgierig naar de achtergrond van Bobbejaan(land)....ik
twijfel eerlijk gezegd of ik de betekenis wel goed heb....soms denk ik dat
alleen Engeland bedoeld wordt, maar soms ook de USA....

As 'n Nederlander maak ek beswaar teen die uitdrukking "The Dutchmen".
Die deur jou genoemde mense is lede van jou eie "wit" volk, en het niks te doen
met die Nederlanders nie. Ek is jammer vir jou eekhorinkie maar jou eie volk
(wellig jyself ook) het destyds vir die apartheitregering gestem. Jy het self
tog ook meegedoen met die apartheid praktyke, niemand het jou gedwing om jou
eie demokratise reg uit te oeffen en vir jare die apartheitbewind in die lewe
te hou. Investeer die lede van die regering van die nuwe Suid Afrika min geld
(as 'n appeltjie vir die dors) in Canada, Switserland, of selfs Oostenryk
(foei tog !) Die nuwe regering doen niks ander as die ouwe regering nie.
Slegs mag en geld tel, die burgers (wit en swart !) in die opinie van die
regeringslyers tel bugger all. Niks nuus, ooral in die wereld (kyk Duitsland)
vul regeringslyers hul eie sakke. Oh, en baie dankies reisiger, jy is 'n
vernuwende lig in dese nuusgroep !
