Die boek het in 1992 verskyn. Nie te lank daarna nie het 'n soort
parodie/satire daarop verskyn, geskryf vanuit die man se oogpunt. Ek het die
boek gelees en interessant, hoewel soms ietwat smaakloos en dikwels baie
eksplisiet gevind. Maar nou ek om die dood nie die titel of die skrywer
onthou nie. Ek dink die titel het 'n man se naam in gehad, en die skrywer
het 'n skuilnaam gebruik. As iemand weet waarvan ek praat - kan jy dalk
asseblief die titel en skrywer noem? Die hoofkarakter se naam was Mot, en ek
het 'n gedagte die titel het ook dalk "Mot" in gehad.
Dis net een van daardie goed wat jy probeer onthou maar toetentaal net nie
kan oproep nie.

Die hele storie was blykbaar geborg deur Coke.
Blykbaar was die paartie gebeeldsend op TV3 oor die naweek - ek het dit per
ongeluk gemis.
Ek het nie 'n probleem met partytjies nie.
Ek het ook nie 'n probleem met wat 'n borg wil borg nie.
Die vraag is net hoekom so 'n klomp verdienstelike hulporganisasies amper
op 'n daaglikse daaglikse basis moet toemaak, tot nadeel van die gemeenskap
waar hul hulp verleen, omdat hulle nie 'n borg kan kry nie.

Kry Saterdag toe Cross Stitch 4 - en by dit is daar 'n beertjie wat mens kan
uitwerk en in 'n raampie sit. Al die materiaal word verskaf, behalwe 'n

Dis 'n aaneending, so dit behoort sommer gou te gaan dog ek.

Eerstens is die kleure so na aan mekaar dat ek nie mooi die verskil kan sien
tussen cream, wit en light pebble nie - ook nie tussen lilac se verskillende
skakerings en mauve se skakerings nie.
So gaan ek maar konfoes-konfoes aan - en die ou beertjie het nou ligte spots
waar skudu's moet wees en so aan. Die ergste is nou dat ek agterkom dat

Dis 'n dik boek wat R300 kos, maar wat kan hy nou eintlik sê wat ons nie al
klaar weet nie? Die resensie in Rapport was ook nie juis vreeslik
rooskleurig nie, en nou is hy met 'n briefwisseling in Rapport besig met die
resensent - wat my maar bly maak ek het R300 gespaar.

En daar word ek toe gisteraand verras - hierdie tweede groepie sing toe
almal goed, en die twee wat dit gaan maak is die gelukkiges.
Ek wonder net hoeveel sê die arme kinders het in die keuse wat hulle wil
sing - want verlede week het iemand iets gesing wat hy erken hy nog nooit
gehoor het nie, en hierdie week weer het van hulle liedjies gekies wat nie
hul stem heeltemal pas nie.
Sekerlik tog, as my toekoms daarvan afhang, sal ek iets sing wat ek goed ken
en wat ek weet my stem heeltemal sal pas.
Hoe op aarde kan iemand iets kies om te sing wat hy/sy weet nie heeltyd in
dieselfde toonaard gesing kan word nie.
