Ek lees vanoggend dat in SA oorweeg word om
elektrisiteitbevoedgheidsertifikate vir huise en geboue in SA af te skaf.
Die rede blyk te wees dat daar baie bedrog is met die lewering van die
sertifikate deur elektrisiëns en dat hulle nie verantwoordelik daarvoor is
in elk geval as daar iets sou verkeerd loop nie, waarvoor dan die
sertifikaat?
As 'n betrokkende in die boubedryf, kan ek net sê dat hierdie duidelik
maar net nog 'n geval is waar die stert die hond rondswaai. Omdat die
staat nie in staat is om sy eie regulasies toe te pas nie [baie nodige
regulasies om die veiligheid van inwoners te verseker, bygesê] nou moet dit
maar afgeskaf word. Dis dieselfde kak argument met vuurwapens. Omdat die
mens 'n krimineel is, moet die arme vuurwapens skuld kry daarvoor!
Eugene de Kock moes gister rus nadat hy die vorige dag van Pretoria na PE
gereis het. Is onvoldoende oefening nie mishandeling nie?

Tenspyte van rekord winste, beplan Telkom om nog vele werkers af te dank.
Geeneen van die topbestuur word afgedank nie. Die hoofgrondboontjie het
verlede jaar R11 miljoen verdien. Tydens die radio-onderhoud met die
segspersoon, is die telkomverbinding onverklaarbaar verbreek.
