Ek moet hier saamstem dat die kerk en christenheid
grotendeels die direkte oorsprong is van die mees
gruwelike dade wat teen die mensdom gepleeg is.
Lank lewe ek al in 'n samelewing wat glo in die
bestaan van 'n god, n god so gruwelik en wreed,
'n god wat jaloers is en oorlog voer.
In verband met slawerny verwys ek na die bybel:

Slawerny is goedgepraat deur god, en alhoewel god
vra/beveel dat slawe goed behandel moet word, gaan

dat die kerk/christendom die gehele mensdom

Racism is surely defined as people from a homogenous society reacting
to outsiders in an offensive manner. I can, to an extent understand
the frustration and bitterness caused by racism to those whose lives
it has touched. However, I question the dignity which research of this
nature has given the phenomenon, in I feel that racism is a retreat
for those so insecure in themselves that they have to find a common
cause against those different from themselves.
I also question your motivation for placing this rather lengthy
posting on this newsgroup. Firstly, this newsgroup is for Afrikaans
cultural issues and the language you used throughout was English. Is
the topic therefore Afrikaans and cultural. I think not. Secondly,
there is the implication that because the newsgroup is South African
(and Afrikaans) the potential readership would be more racist than
any other potential readership and thus more likely to respond to your
posting in an inflammatory manner. Should that be a reason, I would
suggest that you examine your own motivation as it seems as if it
might be racist in itself to me.
Thirdly, I believe it to be good form when using emphasis to indicate
which parts of a quoted text are original and which parts are own
emphasis. This usually allows a reader to distinguish the intent of
the original author as opposed to the prejudice of an editor, possbly
unknown to the original source.
Dink julle ouens dat as ons vir ASAR2001 lank genoeg ignoreer, hy sal
weggaan? Of anders moet ons hom frustreer deur die hele tyd in Afrikaans te
skryf, maar sy naam baie te noem. Of so iets. Ek's gatvol vir hom.
Baie relevant vir die wat reken hulle is tenagekom of dat die lewe hulle
iets skuld. Julle weet van wie ek praat.

Wat de duiwel is "kewl" anyway. Ek het nog altyd "cool" gesê\geskryf. Amper
soos die "neiu"of "neui" of "nuei" of wat dit ook al is... Wat is fout met
"new"?
Ek stem saam dat 'n mens soms sukkel om die regte woorde in Afrikaans te
kry. Ek meng my taal, en ek is nie skaam daaroor nie. Ek doen dit egter net
om twee redes: effek en as ek nie 'n soortgelyke woord in Afrikaans binne
0.25 s kan uitdink nie. Ek praat baie van login en password en RAM (ETG
suig) en CD (KS suig) ens. Maar die
basis waarop ek die woorde plaas bly Afrikaans. Goed soos RAM en CD kan as
beroepstaal (jargon) beskou word en ek dink die daar moet neergekyk word op
mense wat dit gebruik nie. Ek dink mense is aansitterig as hulle juis te
hard probeer om Afrikaans te praat. Praat dit soos dit lekker is!
Voorheen is daar neergesien op mense wat nie Engels kan praat nie, miskien
moet ons dit andersom doen. Praat Afrikaans tot die ou jou snaaks aankyk en
slaan dan oor na perfekte Engels - net om hom te wys hoe goed tweetalig jy
is. Cool, né!
