Die krag was lank laas af. Dit is seker weer aan die kom.
Maar die water was die week vir 2 dae af. 'n Pyp het iewers gebars.
Toe sny die stadraad die water af sonder om vir iemand in te lig hulle
gaan dit doen.
Toe ek uiteindelik Dinsdag deurkom na die inbelsentrum toe se die gek
aan die ander kant maar hulle kon ons nie laat weet het nie (dit was
so 7 woonbuurte, insluitende Hillbrow met sy high rises) want die pyp
het daardie dag (Dinsdag) eers gebars.
Ha!
Dit was wat die idooit SONDAG ook gese het toe hulle die water Sondag
vir 'n paar uur afgesny het. En die pyp WAS Sondag gebars want ek het
daar verbygery en dit gesien.
Op City Water se webblad se hulle weer die pyp het Maandag gebars.
Intussen berig The Star oor die 70 jarige tannie van Hillbrow wat
uiteindelik deurgekom het na die inbelsentrum en gevra het waar kan sy
water kry?
Hulle se toe aan haar daar staan 'n tenkwa met water in Parkview en
een in bedfordview. Hulle se sy moet "containers" vat, Parkview of
Bedfordview toe stap en gaan water haal.
Gister het die water by ons darem weer aangekom.
Maar gister het die rioolpyp bo in die straat weer gebreek. Nou stroom

Never think that because a man is a preacher, he also
has the Holy Spirit baptism. He has a job.
He ought to go to people who have it, and say he
wants it too.

wat met ons gebeur het met ons tuiskoms
op die oopte van die hart, waar geen mens kan wegskuil nie?
Dit was net genade. Bloot genade.
This has to be put in perspective. According to the British Africa expert,
Martin Meredith (author of "The State of Africa"), Africa has less than 2%
of the world's GDP. Africa as a whole, with about 800 million people, has a
GDP that is smaller than that of Mexico. Yet Africa is ravaged from end to
end by strife and war - which is only getting worse. But how many heard of
the massive wars that have been fought in Africa? Major wars are fought in
Africa without any attention paid to them.
There are two glaring facts that everyone ignores:
1. You will never hear anyone pointing out that during Colonialism and
Apartheid that there was very little black-on-black warfare. White-ruled
countries were peaceful, until the Communists incited blacks to turn on the
government. Nobody ever admits anymore that there was peace during white
rule and whites prevented black-on-black strife during colonial times. You
will never hear that White people were peace-makers. But that is what they
were. White people prevented many wars, and in South Africa, whites even
prevented the genocide of Indians by Zulus in 1949.
Furthermore, the Colonial rule brought Law & Order to black societies and
that is why there was massive growth in Africa until de-colonization, when
economies collapsed.
The role of whites as peacemakers and good economic managers is never
mentioned by anyone because saying anything good about whites is now
politically incorrect.
2. The other thing you will always hear coming out of Africa is the mantra:
"The Whites... the whites are the problem... kick out the whites... the
whites are keeping the black people in poverty... get rid of the whites and
Africa will prosper." This mantra comes of course from black leaders. Black
leaders pump out this mantra all the time, while they are driving the whites
out and taking what they own. They shout this mantra loudly while they are
stealing from the whites, and giving virtually nothing to poor blacks in
whose name they are stealing! They keep what they steal for themselves and
their cronies. It is these same Black Leaders who make war, and carry out
genocide of their fellow blacks! People continuously try to blame the Whites
for the problems of Africa, but Africa never had this much violence under
colonialism!
You only hear about the problems whites caused. During all 48 years of
Apartheid, a maximum of 20,000 Blacks died. How evil was Apartheid? But
Robert Mugabe murdered about 30,000 black Matabele people in the early
1980's in his country alone (before engaging in multiple massive wars in
other countries in Africa). Idi Amin of Uganda killed 300,000 blacks, while
his successor Obote killed 1 million.
In the late 1990's, Africa experienced a "World War" scale conflict in the
DRC which involved 12 Black African countries - 4.3 million black people
died.
The battle cry from the leaders of Africa is constantly: "The whites, the
whites, the damned white... get rid of the whites and our problems will be
solved!"
But that's the biggest lie of all! In South Africa, for example, the number
of blacks living in poverty more than doubled since the end of white rule 13
years ago. In Zimbabwe, the economy completely collapsed after the
government confiscated farm-land from whites.
Their problems started once they kicked the whites out, and its just getting
worse by the year. Africa gets $26 billion in aid annually, which is more
than what Germany and Japan received under the Marshall Plan. The Marshall
Plan ran for only 4 years and cost $13 billion. Africa receives $26 billion
a year in aid and has received in total over $400 billion!
Africa is returning to the state it was in before whites colonised it. It is
returning to its state of eternal black-on-black conflict before whites made
peace here and brought it a Golden Age of development known as
"Colonialism".
Don't expect things to get better in Africa. Many of Africa's current
leaders are the very source of its problems. Expect black poverty and
conflict in Africa to get much worse.

the "Bush War", which resulted in Robert Mugabe coming to power. He was

Sy het dus blykbaar afgetree.
Wat die afdanking van Mbeki aanbetref, is ek versigtig optimisties.
Dit was heelwaarskynlik wraaksugtigheid deur Zuma en kie, en wat
voorlê sal slegs die toekoms kan sê.
Wat dink julle kan ons verwag? Ferdi, jy is meer ingelig btw die
lokale politiek as die meeste van ons hier. Interessant wat die
kleurling professor op die AFR Nuus gesê, het na aanleiding van
Manuel se stelling dat hy nie bedank nie maar aanbly. Dat die kabinet
dit nie besef nie, maar dat elke een van hulle afgedank is omdat Mbeki
hulle aangestel het. Dat die 'caretaker' weer ministers sal moet
aanstel.
Wie’s dié Higgs-vent? En hoekom soek die wêreld so na hom?

Die groot Hadron-masjien by die Europese sentrum vir kernnavorsing
(Cern) in Switserland is aangeskakel en gaan binne die volgende weke
sub-atomiese deeltjies teen amper die spoed van lig teen mekaar laat
bots, onder meer in die verwagting dat die Higgs boson-deeltjie in die
botsings as’t ware losgeskud en dus waargeneem kan word.
Die Higgs boson-deeltjie (ook bekend as die God-deeltjie) is die
hedendaagse heilige graal van die fisika. Dit bestaan in teorie en is
nog nooit waargeneem nie. Fisici reken dit is dalk die deeltjie wat
massa aan materie gee. As dit waargeneem kan word, sal groot dele van
hedendaagse teorieë oor die aard van materie reg bewys word.
Die “Higgs-”gedeelte van die deeltjie se naam is genoem na die Britse
wetenskaplike Peter Higgs wat in 1964 met die idee vorendag gekom het
dat daar so iets moet bestaan.
Die “boson-”gedeelte van die naam verwys na die soort deeltjie wat die
Higgs is. Bosons is deeltjies wat reageer in pas met die Bose-Einstein-
statistieke en die “Bose” hierin verwys na die Indiese wiskundige
Satyendra Nath Bose wat in 1922 pionierswerk op dié gebied gedoen
het.
Volgens die Britse koerant The Telegraph het die Britse wetenskaplike
Stephen Hawking gesê die Hadron-masjien by Cern is saam met die wêreld
se onderskeie ruimte-programme uiters belangrik vir die menslike ras.
“Saam kos hulle minder as een tiende van ’n persentasie van die wêreld
se produksie. As die menslike ras dit nie kan bekostig nie, dan
verdien hy nie die beskrywing ‘menslik’ nie,” het Hawking aan die BBC
gesê.
Maar Hawking sê hy het reeds $100 (sowat R818) gewed dat die Higgs-
partikel nie deur die Hadron-masjien waargeneem sal word nie.
Hawking sê die Hadron-masjien (LHC of Large Hadron Collider) “sal die
energievlakke waaronder ons deeltjie-interaksie bestudeer met ’n
faktor van vier vergroot. Volgens huidige idees sal dit genoeg wees om
die Higgs raak te sien, maar ek dink dit sal baie meer opwindend wees
as ons dit nie raaksien nie. Dit sal wys iets is verkeerd en ons moet
weer begin dink.”
Die Franse astro-fisikus, Hubert Reeves, reken egter die LHC gaan tot
ontdekkings lei wat fisika vir altyd gaan verander.
Hawking meen egter die masjien sal daartoe lei dat super-eweknieë vir
bekende deeltjies gevind word, sogenaamde “supersimmetriese vennote”.
“Hulle sal die string-teorie bevestig en hulle kan die swart materie
opmaak wat volgens teorie sterrestelsels bymekaar hou,” het Hawking
volgens Sapa-AFP gesê.
