Ek hoor dit gaan vandag 31 Grade word in Johannesburg, sonder enige kans op
reen. Inderdaad die hemel is mooi helderblou en oop vandag. Dis 'n
heerlike oggend. Die Pretorianers kan seker 'n temperatuur van so om en by
33 Grade verwag. Dis altyd so 2 of 3 grade warmer in Pretoria as in JHB.
Die van ons wat in Midrand bly het dieselfde voordeel (of sal ek dit nadeel
noem). Ongelukkig is my swembad grasgroen a.g.v. die onlangse reen so ek
sal nie eers kan swem vandag nie.
Elders sal dit mooiweer en warm wees :-))
Vanoggend toe hoor ek dat Die Kerkbode 'n Nuwe naam gaan kry. Toe Volksblad
en Huisgenoot hul Die gelos het, het hulle nie beweer hulle kry 'n nuwe naam
nie, net 'n verbeterde een, maar die mense van Kerkbode dink hulle het nou
'n spiksplinternuwe naam.
Ek het 'n 24 uur konneksie na die net. Gebruik fixed IP address.
As ek egter dailup na 'n klient verloor ek connectivity met my bestaande
netwerk. Die manne se dis hoe dit werk maar ek vermoed daar moet 'n ander
metode wees om op altwee gelyktydig geconnect te wees. Jou -up moet moes
half geissoleer wees van jou LAN gedeelte. Is daar 'n manier om dit reg te
kry. Loop WIN2000PRO.

different this week.
A friend of mine sent me an e-mail this week, saying that he had been
diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D., or Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
These are the symptoms, as described by him in the first person:
"I decide to wash the car, I head towards the garage but spot the mail on
the table. Ok, I'm going to wash the car. But I better go through the mail
first. I put the car keys down on the desk, discard the junk mail and I
notice the rubbish tin is full. Ok, I'll just put the accounts on the desk,
and take the rubbish out, but since I'm going to be close to the letterbox
anyway, I'll pay these accounts first. Now where is my cheque book? Drat,
there is only one cheque left! My extra cheques are in my desk. Oh, there is
the Coke I was drinking. I'm going to look for those cheques. But first I
need to put my Coke further away from the computer, or maybe I'll pop it
into the fridge to keep it cold for a while. I head off to the kitchen and
my flowers catch my eye, they need some water. I put the Coke on the counter
and there are my glasses. I was looking for them all morning! I'd better put
them away first. I fill the container with water and head for the flower
pots. Someone left the TV remote in the kitchen. We will never think to look
in the kitchen tonight when we want to watch television so I better put it
back in the family room where it belongs. I splash some water into the pots
and onto the floor, I throw the remote back onto a soft cushion on the sofa
and I head back down the hall, trying to figure out what I was going to do.
END OF THE DAY: The car isn't washed, the accounts are unpaid, the Coke is
sitting on the kitchen counter, the flowers are half watered, the cheque
book still only has one cheque in it, and I can't seem to find my car keys!
When I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I am baffled because I
KNOW I WAS BUSY ALL DAY LONG. I realize this is a serious condition. And
I'll get help, but first I'll wash the car ...."
