Since we are stuck here with the weak rand, we can now entertain ourselves
and the tourists who takes advantage of the situation:))
1: Brass band parade over lunchtime
2: Face paintings on Green Market Square
3) Cavendish Magic Castle - skowing the musical the Elves and the Shoemaker
4) MTN Science centre - different projects each day.
5) Adderley Street becomes a market each day from 5pm. Now we cannot drive
through to see the light - we got to walk it.
6) Christmas Carols at Oude Libertas by the CT Philharmonic Choir
7) Spier Amphitheatre stage a Boland pantomine called RooiKoppitjie
8) Big Stakes & Slap Chips - comedy show at the Baxter
9) Carols and nativity Play at the Gardens
10) Night Market in St Georges Mall.
Strange thing is that we always have a Shakespeare play this time of the
year at Maynardville and concerts at Kirstenbosch - both open air- but they
are not mentioned - I am sure they are still on - it is tradition:))
Herewith more info for you guys to make up your minds, get on the plane and
come and sit in the sun:))
