In response to the popularity of The Weakest Link, Kyknet will be launching
an Afrikaans version.
After many months of creative brainstorming, they have managed to come up
with a catchy version of: "You are the weakest link - goodbye".
The producers have settled on what will surely become a popular phrase,
applicable to many other situations too .........

I have to admit that my Afrikaans is not strong - I wasn't educated in South
Africa. But from what I've been able to work out, you appear to have got
your koeksisters into a right old twist.
I note and humbly accept that you take exception to my finding humour with
"vloekwoorde" and I shan't post such jokes on your newsgroup again. But
it's strange that you saw fit to reprimand me but missed the deliberately
rude response from Frankie who (furthermore) claims to speak on your
behalf - maybe he's more acceptable to you because he's one of "die volk"?
If that's true (and it certainly looks that way) then you are a hypocrite
and it's little wonder several people are waiting in the wings looking for
opportunities to fire pot shots at y'all.
