Anyway oh helpful people...
I went for the first interview here in the City of London (which is where my
job will be based) last Thursday and met with my prospective SA employers...
we got along well and they want me to meet their technical director now.
Apparently they are considering flying me out to SA to be interviewed by
him... I've asked if they can fly me out on a Thursday night, see me on the
Friday and then give me the rest of Friday a hotel room and the bulk of
Saturday in which to look around the area before flying back on Saturday
night.
The offices are in Centurion.
If they agree to this:
Presumably I will need them to provide me with a car? How much for a full
size car for two days? (you never know I might have to claim back the cost).
Decent hotel? Recommendations? Personally I tend to stay in 5* places but
knowing the way corporates work I will get a regular business hotel (3 or
4*).
Places to visit? Things to see?
Most importantly, places to stay well away from... as in 'how not to get
into trouble'.
