Hello. I am doing a small project, and am looking for a native speaker
of Afrikaans to volunteer a few minutes of time. I have a small
passage of text in Afrikaans (about 5 typed lines), and would like a
sound file made of it. I'm afraid all I can offer in return is thanks
and appreciation, and acknowledgement if I ever get it up on my web
site. So if you have a few spare minutes, and can record yourself onto
a sound file, please let me know at the address below. Thank you very

Hi - I know this is a bit long winded and all, but could you send me the
passage? I DON'T speak Afrikaans (I can read it, even write a little too,
but forget pronouncing it!), however, my girlfriend is about as Afrikaans as
you can get (she's a van fer god's sake!), and I'll see if she will record
it for you!

would be interested to know more about the project, luv, even though my own
webcam situation is currently pretty much f*cked. i dream of sound
recording myself, -- it would be nice to start an online speak dictionary
for afrikaans.
