The Delta Users Committee will conduct a walk around Delta Park on Sunday
September 18, leaving the main car park at Delta Environmental Centre, Road
No 3, Victory Park (off Rustenburg Road) at 08:00 and returning at about
10:00. As you enter the park turn left and follow the road to the parking
ground. No charge, children and dogs are most welcome. Contact: Clive

Ons gaan toe mos na 'n wynroete net drie uur se ry van ons
af op die noordelike oewer van Lake Ontario (suid van Belleville.
en effentjies suidwes van Napanee, waar Avril Lavigne vandaan
kom.)
En die eerste wynplek wat ons besoek, ontmoet ons die
interessantste wynboer. Alhoewel van sy wyne wêreldklas is,
is sy wynmakery maar 'n sylyn. Eintlik maak hy films. Hy sê
dit maak nie saak dat hy nie meer in Los Angeles bly nie. Hulle
Fed-Ex vir hom net elke dag of wat vir hom dinge oornag, en
hy het sterk genoeg harde- en sagteware dat hy sy werk
enige plek kan doen. Hy was die editor dertig jaar gelede
wat die legendariese Anne of Green Gables aanmekaar gesit
het, en op meeste ( nie almal) van die daaropvolgende
Anne of Avonlea series gewerk het.

Hmm.....hier by ons stap ons darem amper elke dag langs die see met die
honne. Ons het mos sand...en sand.....én sand!! En skoon lug!
