Afrikaners are not free (Dan Roodt - Dainfern)
Max du Preez ("Because they hate future, they try to change the past"), is
obviously worried, and we have not even begun to dissect the past.
In a poll conducted for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in late
2000, 65% of Afrikaners were found to believe "there were abuses but the
ideas behind apartheid were basically good". Twenty-five percent of Zulus
held the same opinion.
That dissenting majority of Afrikaners is perfectly right. No other white
group in history has done more for the education, health, languages and
culture of black Africans than they have.
The full story of development expenditure under apartheid has still to be
told. For their trouble Afrikaners have been accused of committing a "crime
against humanity".
For obviously ethnic reasons, the white English leftists have for decades
been spreading vicious lies and distortions about apartheid, including the
notion that it was a form of planned racial genocide.
Every Afrikaner was a Nazi, and when Eugene Terreblanche fell off his horse,
it all made sense. The black elite bought into this, and since 1994 it has
become the state religion.
The TRC report, also drafted by a left-wing English theologian, represented
the ultimate propaganda triumph over us, casting the Nazi myth in stone and
even requiring us to submit ourselves to rituals of abject apology in a bad
remake of what happened in Khmer Rouge labour camps.
The TRC report was a sham, and the state lost the Wouter Basson trial, the
last feeble attempt to make the genocide label stick. If it were possible
for a people to sue for libel, we would be able to claim billions in
damages, for we have been vilified, calumnied and vituperated beyond belief
by black politicians, theologians and their sleazy little rooinek henchmen.
I am afraid such good times are over.
The forgiveness that Afrikaners extended to the English community after 1910
for the genocide committed against our women and children during 1899-1902
is going to be revoked. Since 1994 black South Africa has treated us like a
conquered people, plundering our assets and taking over our schools and
universities, just like an occupying army from 17th-century Europe.
Where are all the English human rights lawyers now who used to have their
mouths full of venom about apartheid and congenital Afrikaner cruelty?
I think FW de Klerk should have the courage to testify in the Boeremag
trial. He cannot hide forever from the wrath of his people whom he sold out
for some cheap publicity and a Nobel Peace Prize.
De Klerk and Roelf Meyer were complete idiots, but it would be a mistake to
see them as representative of the volk. Afrikaners are not so stupid as to
imagine that they are free.
