Almal het seker al Boney M se liedjie gehoor van Ma Baker, the meanest cat
in old Chicago Town. Waar kan ek die geskiedenis van Ma Baker naspoor op die
Internet?
Ek ook die storie van El Lute, die Spanjaard waarvan gese word "he was born
to be hunted like a wild animal". Rasputin was maklik genoeg.
Ek het al wyd en syd gesoek maar kan niks opspoor nie. Iemand wat kan help?

MA BAKER (Boney M's version without 'r')
Freeze! I'm Ma Baker - put your hands in the air,
Gimme all your money
This is the story of Ma Baker, the meanest cat
From ol' Chicago town
She was the meanest cat
In old Chicago town
She was the meanest cat
She really moved them down
She had no heart at all
No no no heart at all
She was the meanest cat
Oh she was really tough
She left her husband flat
He wasn't tough enough
She took her boys along
'Cause they were mean and strong
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die
They left a trail of crime
Across the U.S.A.
And when one boy was killed
She really made them pay
She had no heart at all
No no no heart at all
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die
she met a man she liked
she thought she'd stay with him
one day he formed with them
they did away with him
she didn't care at all
just didn't care at all
Here is a special bulletin. Ma Baker is the FBI's most wanted woman.
Her photo is hanging on every post office wall. If you have any
Information about this woman please contact your nearest police station...
Don't anybody move! The money or your lives!
One day they robbed a bank
It was their last hooray
The cops appeared too soon
They couldn't get away
And all the loot they had
It made them mighty mad
And so they shot it out
Ma Baker and her sons
They didn't want to hang
They died with blazing guns
And so the story ends
Of one who left no friends
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she taught her four sons
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - to handle their guns
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - she never could cry
Ma Ma Ma Ma - Ma Baker - but she knew how to die

Baie inligting op die Internet, maar meeste in Spaans.
Spanish folk hero Eleuterio Sanchez during the last years of the Franco
regime.
Goeie stuk geskiedenis opsomming hier:
http://www.groovecave.com/boneym/related/el_lute.htm
El Lute, a.k.a. Eleuterio Sanchez Rodriguez, was never, stricly speaking, a
Robin Hood, although I suppose one could say that he robbed the rich to help
the poor, since he was helping himself and he was poor. He became a legend
owing to his daring escape from the custody of the police and from jail.
en 2 flieks later:
EL LUTE I
(CAMINA O REVIENTA)
Eleuterio Sanchez met Chelo in a [campamento de mercheros] and decides to
make her his wife in spite of family opposition. They have their first child
in a shack and shortly thereafter, both are incarcerated for stealing
chickens and selling them without a license. In time, Chelo and Eleuterio
move into a poor neighborhood and are captured during an aborted store
robbery attempt. While he is in jail, Eleuterio becomes known as "El Lute",
and after a successful escape, forges a folk legend, who is a bandit to some
people and a hero to others.
Directed by Vicente Aranda, Spain, 1987, 35mm print, 122 mins. In Spanish
with English subtitles. Winner of the Best Actor Prizes for Victoria Abril
and Imanol Arias at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
EL LUTE II
(MAÑANA SERÉ LIBRE)
The saga of the fugitive known as "El Lute" continues, and after his escape
from prison yet again, he and his family hide out with a band of gypsies. He
then becomes involved with a fifteen-year-old gypsy girl (the gypsy leader's
daughter) who he marries, but when the Civil Guard comes looking for him,
will he manage to escape again?
Directed by Vicente Aranda, Spain, 1988, 35mm print, 120 mins. In Spanish
with English subtitles.
