Ek het vanoggend Selebi se kommentare in "The Star" gelees.
Sy kommentaar reflekteer maar negatief op sy houding jeens blankes - en dit
laat mens wonder hoe dinge daar dan in polisiegeledere verloop in die
verband.
Wat baie interessant is, is Selebi se teenkanting teen pro-aktiewe
polisiëring.
My indruk was gewees dat die uniform-polisieman 'n pro-aktiewe rol het, en
die speurafdeling 'n reaktiewe rol het. Volgens Selebi is die blankes behep
met pro-aktiewe polisiëring.
Dis miskien tyd vir gesprekvoering met Selebi - as hy die noodsaaklik rol
van pro-aktiewe polisiëring nie na waarde ag nie is dit tyd vir 'n nuwe
kommisaris.

As hy nog steeds die apartheid ding in sy kop het, gaan jy hom nie tot
