Dis weer sirkus-tyd! En die mense praat ook Afrikaans!

---

Circus days are here again.

The magic of Boswell Wilkie Circus is back for two fun-filled family days on
Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4.

The flags are flying on the Big Top at the circus farm in Randvaal (25
minutes from Sandton) and you are invited to order a picnic basket, enjoy it
on the spacious lawns under the trees, then go in for the full-length show -
laugh at the clowns, thrill to the aerial act, wonder at the acrobats and
the magicians, cheer for the clever dogs and admire the dancing ponies. It's
sheer family entertainment - a 90-minute escape to the glittering fairytale
world of circus.

In October 2001, the Boswell Wilkie Circus gave its last show as a
"travelling" circus after nearly 50 years on the road. Since then the circus
folk have been delighting both adults and children by giving them the
opportunity to perform in their own show on birthdays and special occasions.

But here it is again - the real thing, two afternoons in the fantasy
wonderland of the circus.

Tickets are R39 each, which can be booked on www.circus.co.za. At the same
time, order your picnic basket, which must be booked ahead. They will be
available from 12 noon on both days.

In your take-home basket you'll find chicken liver pate and mini home made
bread, chargrilled chicken, portuguese rolls, potato salad, green bean salad
or cous-cous and mini koeksisters, all for R59 per person. Bring your picnic
blanket!

Light meals and drinks can also be obtained at the Cafe du Cirque and there
is a craft shop on the farm.

Check the website www.circus.co.za for detailed directions.

Praat is nie lees nie.

Dis nou soos die een strepie (korporaal), twee strepies (korporaal) en drie
strepies (sersant) - daar is ook so 'n "rangkode" vir spietkops.

:-)
