For everyone using Google Groups (and some others) I have started a
group called crime.za.
The purpose of this group is to alert people of criminal goings-on in
their areas and areas they are likely to visit. If someone is a victim
of crime, and especially of a crime that is new in their area (eg. dog
poisoning in an area previously free of this outrage) s/he can post
details of the crime on the group. Others in the area can then take
precautions.
I hope that this will be of some assistance. Full details are in the
welcome note of the group.

misdaad is 'n plaag wat wat ons almal affekteer en ek wil julle groep
ook betrek.

Dankie Yusul, dat jy iets doen wat mense daarteen kan waarsku.
Ek het 'n tyd gelede na 'n heel ander deel van die land verhuis,
en ek belowe jou, misdaad is nie streeks gebonde nie.
Gister is drie mense in twee afsonderlike gevalle doodgeskiet in dié
stad. In een van die insidentel is it believed that the shooting may
have been a hit because one of the victims had been shot at a
number of times in recent weeks. Both e.tv and sapa referred to
one of the victims as a drug lord in the area.
Die ander geval was bloot iemand wat gaan geld trek het by 'n bank,
en by 'n robot in sy kar doodgeskiet is daarvoor.
Toevallig het die polisie toe daar verby gery en die
moordenaars het toe ook op hulle geskiet. 'the officers
quickly reversed their vehicle' en die moordenaars het
weggejaag.
En die polisie-hoof se vriend is toegesluit vir die moord op Kebble.
