RE: The 1999 Business Explorer Media Competition
All schools are invited to nominate one student to represent them to
participate in the 1999 Business Explorer Media Competition that will start
on September 1, 1998. A brief information seminar are scheduled for the 4th
of September 98 and will be held in Germiston.
The competition will end on August 31, 1999 and winners will be announced on
a Gala evening at the end of September 1999. Representatives will compete
in one of the divisions, namely; Primary schools, High schools, Colleges /
Universities or Individuals. The competition will start with two categories,
namely News and Actuality.
Representatives will be responsible for starting and managing a media club
at there respective schools and send news and actuality stories through to
the Business Explorer to be published live on NETinfo.
The Business Explorer will start training seminars at all participating
schools to educate students on how to present articles for publishing.
The competition is free to all participating students and media manager
(representatives) will be responsible for managing their media clubs. The
competition will be bilingual.
