Subject: 1000's of angry Mweb customers left stranded by server crash
The major crash of the Mweb Business Solutions servers this week has left
tens of thousands of Mweb customers angry and very, very frustrated. The
servers went down on Sunday night and as of Thursday, Mweb was still unable
to recover from the backlog.
Even worse is that no official word has been available from Mweb as to the
nature of the problem or when it would be fixed. The help-desks (if
accessible) of both Mweb ( 0860112252) and Mweb Business Solutions
(0860100154) gave no information about the catastrophic crash and left
customers in the dark - usually after being put on hold, or sent from
person to person time and time again.
Major customer churn is expected as customers flee the mess and look for
better service elsewhere. "Mweb bills themselves as a premium suppler, and
charges accordingly, but the service provided was worse than any free-mail
service" commented one disgruntled customer.
