I think Afrikaans peoples' comments come in waves. The first time I
subscribed to this newsgroup, there was so much going on. Perhaps the
diagnosis here is 'after the merry season withdrawal syndrome'. I guess
we'll just have to wait and see ....ho hum.....

i persume you are a Zulu that got a pc from the goverment and does not know
what to do with it.

Hi squirrel,
Yes, the name of the NG does contain the word "culture".
However, the objectives of the NG are explained in the charter under which
it was created (don't ask me where one gets it, but it must be acessible
somewhere.)
Even so, it might be advisable to consult a good dictionary and an
encyclopaedia on the meaning of the word "culture".
It, indeed, broad enought to include petty slanging matches - and attempts
at censorship :-)

With many Afrikaans friends, I understand the value placed on the culture,
religion and history of the Afrikaans people. Surely then we should regress
