Ek deel jou sentimente. Dat Islam inderdaad anti-christelik is, lei geen
twyfel nie. Dat hulle messias wat dan sodanig nou gereed is om te verskyn
en wat hulle nou hier propageer, die Antichris in persoon kan wees, is ook
baie moontlik.
Maar ek is versigtig om sommer is-gelyk-aan tekens te plaas. Calvyn het
gesê die pous is die Antichris! Natuurlik het hy redes gehad om so te sê
en baie daarvan was seker geldig, maar ek twyfel of daar vandag enige
ondersteuning vir sy siening oor die pous bestaan.
'n Mens sit ook met die Joodse messiasverwagting - soos die moslems ook 'n
messias vir hier en nou. Waar en hoe pas die Joodse messiasverwagting in
die prentjie in?

Ek is geneig om die Antichris te sien as 'n groep.
Miskien is dit waar mense my verkeerd verstaan
en dit kan nogal lei tot verskille in menings, waaraan
ek nie eens gedink het tot jy nou praat van 'n enkeling.

Dit is, soos jy nou self sien Koot, so effe mislike weer.
En ek kan nie onthou dat ek die weer al so (as mislik) beskryf het
nie, maar dit reën al drie dae aanmekaar. Gister se temperatuur was
(voorspelde en ek dink die voorspellings was reg:-) 19º en vandag en
môre s'n is 18º.
Dit is ongehoord vir Durban! Ek dra 'n kortbroek groot deel van die
winter en nou 'n langbroek in die lente:-)
Dink die weer sal opklaar teen die naweek se kant.

Dit is nogal so - behalwe vir riviere in die strate sal dit damme
langs die riviere ook wees. Maar ek dink dit is ook maar nat
by julle. Hierdie is landswye reën,en ek dink dit het laat genoeg
begin om die voorspel van 'n nat jaar te kan wees.
Die see het gister soos 'n groot dam gelyk. Geen branders nie
en die water was glad soos 'n spieël. Vandag is die branders
baie kalm.
Ek dink dit is slaap tyd. Rustige nag, Koot:-)
